The Sergey Seinyan Department of Musculoskeletal Oncology provides specialized treatment for patients with both malignant and benign tumors of the musculoskeletal system. Approximately 450 surgical procedures are performed annually.

The Department's specialists possess the expertise and technical skills required to provide highly specialized and advanced surgical treatment.

By integrating the services of other specialized departments within the National Center of Oncology, patients can also receive radiation therapy and systemic drug treatment, ensuring a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to cancer care.

The Department performs a full range of surgical procedures for musculoskeletal tumors, including bone-preserving and reconstructive procedures:

• Marginal and intralesional bone resections
• Removal of soft-tissue tumors of various anatomical locations
• Bone reconstruction using bone graft matrices and bone cement
• Endoprosthetic replacement of major and medium-sized joints, including the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee joints, as well as diaphyseal endoprosthetic replacement of long bones
• Soft-tissue reconstruction
• Diagnostic and therapeutic arthroscopy

The specialists of the Department regularly undergo advanced training at leading international clinics and participate in international conferences and scientific meetings.
